In addition to serving as adjunct faculty, teaching Sunday school, and restoring the prairie lands on which he resides, he and his wife, Melinda, operate "The Bee & The Clover."

They also have properties in south Texas for retreats, offered for free to vocational ministry staff and church ministry teams.
